These pictures are not my own, just to be upfront about that. Again, the B man has the camera halfway across the world (sigh). But this is what the caterpillars look like. Except that they are way more BRIGHT in real life. Did a bit of research: Black Swallow Tail Butterflies love the Joe Pie Weed plant which I have a lot of in the front yard. Rue, parsley, dill and carrot are some of the larval's favourite food, all of which are growing in the backyard. I planted this all unwittingly yet it was just the right recipe needed for attracting these beauties to make their home here.
