Awhile back I wrote about using environmentally friendly laundry soap. I have been spending a whack of money on it ever since I switched over. This week I spent $15 on another bottle. Two days after that my brother-in-law brought over his homemade laundry liquid soap to try. I've done a few loads using his soap and what can i say except what an idiot I've been spending all that $$ when I could be making my own which would cost a fraction of the price.
The homemade stuff doesn't suds up but don't let that fool you because it works just as well and smells better. He used lemon essential oil and it is lovely. I might try peppermint in my first batch. Hmmm, peppermint smelling clothes...
