Nice. I've never before read the lyrics to RLH. They're gentle and questioning. They challenge the listener to move forward from their present state and take control of their destiny. There's a sweetness to the lyrics that doesn't come through in the tempo and beat of the song. And I thought it was a just drinking song adopted by the hockey crowd. I've looked closely at some of Hendrix's song and have found they too are often sweet and show a vulnerable side to the man. Thanks for slowing things down a bit. I just returned from a road trip to Mineapolis so I know what it's like to drive in wide open spaces.
