Surprisingly one of the best moments of today's run was when the iPod died. It allowed me to hear the crunch crunch crunch of the snow with every step and this reminded me of Tim. He was a friend of the B man who had been hit by a car and had to use a wheelchair for the rest of his life as a result. He said the thing he missed most was hearing the crunching sound when he walked in the snow. I had never really thought about how nice that is, to feel and hear this crunching sound on a crisp winter day. Thank you for that perspective, Tim. I hope you are walking to your heart's content in crunchy snow in Heaven.
