Maple Syrup Vinaigrette

During the last year whenever I ran out of something store bought in the fridge I set out to see if I could make it myself. The kids still only eat ranch, but this one is a staple for the B man and myself. I do not remember where the recipe came from...probably off a maple syrup website.

1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp. dijon mustard
2Tbsp red wine vinegar
1/2 cup canola oil

Shake it all up in a jar and there you have it. Yummy.
