Gourds Galore

Pumpkin carving has always been a scary and messy affair in our house. Tonight we change our destiny by taking a carving class. We cut the bottom out instead of the top and the seeds practically fall out on their own as a result.

Realizing I paid $30 to learn to cut the bottom out of a pumpkin, I quickly start collecting the seeds in an effort to get as much out of this class as possible.

I rinsed the seeds but was too lazy to dry them. I placed them on parchment paper and sprinkled them with sea salt. They baked at 250F for 2 hours. These are the tastiest $30 pumpkin seeds I have ever eaten. Even the B man said they are "awesome"!
